Workday Consultant Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Workday consultant to join our team. As a Workday consultant, you will be responsible for deploying and implementing Workday solutions to meet the specific needs of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and deploy Workday solutions
• Provide expertise in Workday Payroll product suite
• Lead deployment teams or coach others to successfully gather and document client business requirements, design and configure Workday solutions, demonstrate configurations through prototype systems, assist in testing Workday solutions, and complete knowledge transfer to clients
• Work with confidential data conversion teams to help convert legacy data into Workday
• Assist integration consulting teams in configuring and testing integrations between Workday and other third-party or custom solutions
• Mentor new consultants and serve as a professional role model and coach others on product knowledge
• Communicate clearly and concisely, collaborate effectively and synergistically to team-based projects, work with team members to address complex tasks/requirements when other team members need support, facilitate clients' intellectual and practical adoption of Workday best practices, maintain clients' ongoing satisfaction ensuring Intecrowd is referenceable and referable once in production, provide regular status reports to project managers keeping them apprised of overall project status, innovate and suggest new approaches and tools to deploy Workday efficiently and effectively, maintain Workday certifications and qualifications, ensure functional solutions are compatible with downstream data translation (assist integrators in configuring/testing integrations between Workday and external systems), demonstrate computational thinking identify problem components analyze patterns remove inefficient configurations or processes construct algorithmic solutions scalable to ongoing client needs, contribute to and mold a culture of continuous education amongst your colleagues mentees and managers serve as a professional role model, provide insightful status reports to project managers that highlight risks to project health and improvements in client adoption

• Current Workday Time Tracking Certification
• 4+ years configuring and implementing a combination of Payroll/Absence/Time Tracking Solutions
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• Previous consulting experience with a consulting/software company
• Previous experience deploying Workday SAP Oracle PeopleSoft ADP Ultimate or similar applications
• Demonstrated project management experience
• Functional experience in one or more of the following areas: Payroll Absence and/or Time Tracking
• Passion for providing exceptional customer service
• Ability to effectively manage against timelines and goals
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities
• Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training
• Experience deploying multiple HCM/Payroll projects simultaneously a plus
• Expected travel is +/-30% depending on project
