This role ensures our adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. The Legal & Compliance Manager designs, implements, and maintains Anti Money Laundering (AML) / Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) frameworks aligned with local and global regulatory requirements.

  • Lead the full lifecycle of Know your Business (KYB) processes, including onboarding, re-identification, and remediation.
  • Implement and manage AML transaction monitoring rules, risk ratings, and customer screening.
  • Supervise CDD/EDD reviews and oversee case investigations, including suspicious activity reports (SARs).

The Legal & Compliance Manager also ensures our products comply with local and international regulations. They work with Product and Engineering to design compliant but frictionless offerings, monitor evolving regulatory changes affecting our business model, and conduct regulatory risk assessments.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate agreements: vendor, partnership, customer-facing, NDAs, among others.
  • Own and maintain our IP portfolio in coordination with external counsel.

Prior experience in legal departments of financial services or related fields, with compliance (AML/Data Protection) experience, is required. In-depth knowledge of local financial regulations and global fintech regulatory trends is essential.
