The Role
As a Senior Specialist Customer Development, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining strong customer relationships within our Sales and Account Management division. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Proactively managing and developing relationships with existing customers to drive business growth and retention
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to expand our customer base and market share
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions
- Negotiating and closing sales contracts while ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction
- Preparing comprehensive sales reports and presentations to share insights and recommend strategies
- Supporting the development and implementation of sales and account management initiatives
- Providing training and mentorship to junior members of the sales team
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales or account management role within the consumer goods industry
- A strong understanding of the competitive landscape, market trends, and customer dynamics
- A proven track record of successfully managing and growing customer relationships
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales targets
- Proficiency in data analysis and presenting insights to stakeholders
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
