Freelance HR Recruiter

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Professional to support our hiring needs on a part-time freelance basis. This role involves handling job postings, screening applicants, and conducting phone interviews to ensure open roles are filled quickly with high-quality talent while maintaining an excellent candidate experience.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Draft compelling vacancy ads and publish them on leading job portals and the company website.
  • Monitor ad performance and refresh or adjust copy to maintain a steady applicant flow.
  • Shortlist or disqualify candidates and update their status in the recruitment management system with clear notes.
  • Conduct structured phone interviews to evaluate cultural fit, communication skills, and technical suitability.
  • Record detailed interview outcomes and recommendations directly in the recruitment management system.
  • Keep candidate stages current in the recruitment management system, triggering automated follow-up or rejection messages as required.
  • Compile weekly metrics (time-to-fill, source effectiveness, pipeline status) for leadership.
Other Responsibilities:
  • Recommend improvements to job descriptions, screening rubrics, and recruitment workflows.
  • Maintain consistent employer branding across all recruitment communications.
  • Conduct reference checks or background verifications when requested.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of full-cycle recruitment (experience in construction or engineering fields is a plus).
  • Technical: Hands-on familiarity with any recruitment management system; prior use of specialized recruitment software is an advantage.
  • Communication: Clear written English and a pleasant, confident phone voice.
  • Tools: Reliable mobile phone with strong signal and a stable internet connection.
  • Availability: Able to conduct phone interviews within standard working hours.
  • Traits: Detail-oriented, self-driven, and capable of meeting deadlines without close supervision.
