Our ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills, looking to take their accounting career to the next level. They will be responsible for various routine accounting duties including general ledger maintenance, preparation of journal entries, and compilation of data for various financial reports.

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of financial reporting principles and be able to work effectively in a team environment. They will also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with both internal and external stakeholders.

In this role, they will assist in the monthly consolidation process, including the review of company-wide inter-company reconciliations. They will also prepare and produce all periodic financial statements in compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements.

Additionally, they will work with various internal and external partners on cross-functional processes or projects, providing analytical and procedural expertise. They will research moderately complex accounting transactions and reporting issues, with some guidance from the subject matter expert.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience in a large corporation or financial service industry
  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting is required
  • CPA certification is a plus
