Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to lead our financial accounting function. As a key member of our corporate team, you will be responsible for shaping our finance department and building key processes that support our company's rapid expansion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Leadership: Take full ownership of end-to-end general ledger processes, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Financial Operations: Oversee key financial activities, such as monthly project costing, departmental reporting, and R&D tax rebate submissions.
  • Process Improvement: Enhance our financial systems by driving continuous improvement of financial policies and procedures, ensuring efficient, accurate, and scalable systems.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and consultants, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Requirements:
  • A strong background in finance, with a bachelor degree in commerce and/or accounting and CPA qualification (or equivalent).
  • Existing experience as a Financial Controller or Finance Manager, preferably supporting international businesses.
  • Strong working knowledge of payroll and GST legislation.
  • Proven experience managing offshore teams and building stakeholder relationships.
