Job Overview

The Accounts Payable Reconciliation Associate plays a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of vendor account reconciliations. This position involves resolving discrepancies, managing non-program claims, and preparing monthly SOX audit reconciliation packages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform accurate and timely vendor account reconciliations, addressing any inconsistencies.
  • Manage non-program claims, including returns, invoice mismatches, consignment, and invalid freight/logistics charges.
  • Handle vendor debit claiming, dispute resolution, and exception cases.
  • Monitor and manage aging reports to address overdue items.
  • Prepare and maintain monthly SOX audit reconciliation packages with supporting documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve reconciliation issues.
  • Contribute to process improvements and internal control compliance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 2–4 years of accounts payable or reconciliation experience in a high-volume environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications; advanced Excel skills highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience in exception and dispute resolution.
  • Knowledge of vendor debit claiming and reconciliation processes.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
