Job Title: Production Planner

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor Assembly Completion based on Firing Order and establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates.
  • Analyze production specifications and plant capacity data, performing mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements.
  • Plan and schedule workflow for each department and operation based on established manufacturing lead times.
  • Coordinate with department supervisors to determine project status.
  • Expedite operations that delay schedules and adjust schedules to accommodate unforeseen conditions.
  • Create Production Orders timely based on firing order sequences.
  • Check available assemblies for incorporation into the production schedule.
  • Provide weekly reports on production plan performance.
  • Lead a team of planners.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's/College Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Studies/Administration/Management, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and reasoning skills.
  • No disciplinary cases in the past year.
  • Not under Performance Improvement Plan.
