We are seeking a skilled Senior Audit professional to lead audits from inception to completion.

About the Role
  • The successful candidate will oversee audits, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of results.
  • Mentor junior team members, fostering their growth and development in a dynamic environment.

To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree and CPA qualification, with 4+ years' experience in external statutory audits. Proficiency in IFRS, Irish GAAP, UK GAAP (including FRS 102), and current technical updates is essential.

Main Responsibilities
  • Prepare comprehensive financial statements and audit reports, adhering to industry standards.
  • Develop thorough audit plans to ensure seamless execution and optimal outcomes.
  • Brief team members on key risks, empowering them to tackle challenges with confidence.
  • Engage with clients to gather information and build strong working relationships.
  • Draft necessary documentation and records to maintain organization and efficiency.
  • Update and roll forward planning sections of the audit file to ensure audits progress smoothly.
