Accounting Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our internal finance and accounting operations. This role will primarily focus on managing financial records, ensuring compliance, and maintaining accurate financial statements.

The ideal candidate is an experienced accountant with strong U.S. GAAP expertise (IFRS knowledge a plus), a solid grasp of U.S. tax law, and the ability to oversee end-to-end financial operations. Audit or transaction support experience is a great asset but not mandatory.

Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.
  • Prepare and analyze the three core financial statements: Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
  • Establish, monitor, and continuously improve financial control systems to ensure accuracy, compliance, and risk management.
  • Manage vendor invoicing, collections, payroll, and cash flow monitoring.
Tax Compliance and Governance
  • Prepare and file U.S. corporate tax returns and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations.
  • Manage Singapore tax filings (corporate income tax, GST) with external advisors.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and external advisors when necessary.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional certification (CPA preferred; ACCA/CA a plus).
  • 5+ years of experience in a managerial or senior role, preferably in a Big 4 Accounting firm.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP; IFRS knowledge or willingness to learn is an advantage.
