Staff Accounting Specialist\

The role of Staff Accounting Specialist involves overseeing general accounting operations and managing financial transactions. Responsibilities include reconciling account balances, maintaining the general ledger, and preparing month-end close procedures to ensure accuracy and effectiveness in all company accounting tasks.

\Key Responsibilities:\
  • Review and manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Analyze financial data and create reports on financial status based on analysis results
  • Create timely and accurate accounting reports and present them to senior management
  • Develop recommendations to optimize accounting systems and detect inaccuracies
  • Support personnel on accounting control procedures
  • Supervise accounting assistants and bookkeepers, plan their work, and assign tasks
  • Participate in forecasting and financial standards setting processes
  • Organize financial statements and budget preparation accurately and timely
  • Support tax audits and prepare corresponding documentation
  • Ensure accounting procedures comply with GAAP requirements
\Requirements:\
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a Financial Controller or Chief Accountant position
  • Experience with typical accounting procedures and general ledger functions
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Practical experience with accounting software packages like FreshBooks and QuickBooks
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with accuracy and attention to detail
  • BS degree in Accounting or Finance
