Job Summary

This role is responsible for overseeing the overall sourcing activities, conducting research, creating and executing strategy as well as preparing, negotiating and recording business contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervises a team or manages assigned sub-function, including:
    • Sourcing Manager:
      • Manages the RFx process, including conducting supplier due diligence and facilitating supplier demos
      • Drives selection strategy based on market knowledge, commodity, and long-term business objectives
      • Conducts market research to assess options in the market, identify possible suppliers
      • Recommends supplier selection to stakeholders and partners with them to develop a list of requirements
      • Contract Manager:
        • Drafts governing agreements (MSA, standalone, T&Cs)
        • Partners with Third Party Manager and stakeholders in developing and executing negotiation strategies (Legal Terms)
        • Partners with Third Party Manager to socialize risks with stakeholders and other teams
        • Routes deals for signature once all due diligence is completed
        • Manages transactions effectively, with assistance from TPM as needed, to meet business timelines
      • People development: engages team in regular coaching and feedback to improve performance and develop competencies. Conducts mid-year and year-end performance reviews.
      • May be assigned/rotated across related sub-functions, including sub-functions within Enterprise Supply Management
      • Other job-related duties as assigned
      Basic Qualifications
      • Bachelor's degree; preferably in Industrial Engineering or Business
      • 10 years relevant work experience, 5 years in function, 5 years managerial experience
      • Relevant experience in complying with US regulatory requirements and processes
      • Contracting experience specifically with HR services
      • Willingness to work in a predominantly work-from-home setup
      • Local candidates preferred
      • Strong technical skills
      • Strong negotiation skills
      • Good attention to detail
      • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
