Logistics and Travel Coordinator Role

This is a nationwide project that requires the coordination of travel and logistics for U.S. and international personnel. The Logistics and Travel Coordinator will ensure compliance with relevant regulations while managing arrangements for training events, site visits, and equipment deliveries across multiple project locations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and be proficient in coordinating international travel. They should also have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Arrange Travel: Ensure compliance with DoD Foreign Clearance Guide and local travel policies while arranging transportation for U.S. and PH staff
  • Coordinate Logistics: Manage logistics for training events, site visits, and equipment deliveries
  • Secure Cost-Effective Solutions: Work with travel agencies, airlines, and vendors to secure cost-effective transportation and lodging
  • Manage Travel Documentation: Oversee travel documentation, itineraries, approvals, and records
  • Handle Visa Applications: Assist with visa applications, foreign clearances, and travel authorizations
  • Support Mobilization and Demobilization: Assist in the mobilization and demobilization logistics for project personnel
  • Prepare Travel Estimates: Prepare travel cost estimates and assist with tracking travel-related budgets
  • Maintain Travel Policies: Maintain and distribute current travel policies and procedures
  • Respond to Emergency Situations: Respond to emergency travel changes, delays, or cancellations

Qualifications: A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in logistics, business, or administration; at least 3 years of experience managing international travel and logistics; familiarity with DoD travel rules and foreign clearance requirements; strong knowledge of international travel procedures and visa processes.
