We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to join our team. This individual will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our clients across various computing environments.

  • Analyze and document unfamiliar client/server network environments to quickly resolve incidents affecting the network.
  • Perform rapid analysis of workstation/server level incidents, consistently determining the root cause.
  • Develop strong understanding of diverse computing environments in wide range of business settings.
  • Develop client standards based on best practices and document needs across client base.
  • Troubleshoot and research server level issues and network level issues independently.
  • Provide consulting to clients on certain applications, company best practices and general computing processes.
  • Escalated support, mentoring, and technical leadership to other engineers in department.
  • IDentify opportunities for improvement in client environments, capturing those opportunities in central information/documentation system.
  • IDentify reoccurring issues in remote service center, develop plan to resolve permanently through problem management.
  • Review security best practices in relation to client environments to uncover, suggest internally and proactively resolve potential risks as part of change management.

Key responsibilities also include resolution of incidents related to:

  • Email/Office 365 issues
  • Firewall Issues including but not limited to SSLVPN, Site to Site VPN, Access Rules
  • Troubleshooting & Assessment of backup/disaster recovery solutions to ensure data retention and uptime
  • Client/Server Connectivity issues (per SOP)
  • Data restores both at individual file level and company wide
  • Remote Access incidents (Citrix and Terminal Services)

A successful candidate will have experience designing network architectures inclusive of LAN/WAN networking and Windows Servers, troubleshooting network configuration and hardware issues, and knowledge of Microsoft Server and Workstation Technologies.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent written and oral communication skills, with ability to articulate technical information and convey to non-technical people. They must also have excellent customer service skills and be available to work after hours when necessary or for on call rotation if applicable.
