
Business Operations Specialist

The Business Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our business operations. This individual will be responsible for executing audit operations, preparing and presenting quality reports, identifying key risk indicators, and maintaining documentation for risk assessment and management processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Executing operations audit by making follow-up calls to customers and understanding their concerns.
- Preparing and presenting quality reports of audit findings and recommendations to managers.
- Identifying key risk and control indicators for assigned audit areas.
- Maintaining documentation for risk assessment and management processes.
- Performing audit-related investigations as directed by the manager.
- Evaluating and revising internal controls and operational and management policies/procedures.
- Ensuring past audit recommendations are implemented in the current audit process.
- Assisting management in developing an annual audit plan.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Delivering professional and high-quality service experiences to customers over the phone by following approved spiels.
- Verifying, scheduling, and confirming order details.
- Completing tasks assigned on a daily basis, such as making a specified number of calls, emails, admin reports, and other administrative matters.
- Working closely with other departments' stakeholders to support and execute business administration activities and objectives set by the team leader.
- Collaborating with departments such as 3PL, marketing, corporate, and other relevant teams.
- Being meticulous and paying attention to details when handling reports and administrative matters.
- Being willing to be assigned to ad hoc tasks to support business and customer needs.
- Regularly examining data reports to locate and resolve potential errors.
- Maintaining databases and performing updates to ensure accuracy.
- Creating business reports that provide insight into key data points and communicating results to managers in writing or verbally.
- Upselling products by offering certain services and/or products to customers.
Requirements:
- This role requires working six days a week and eight hours a day with three shifts: 9 am, 11 am, and 1 pm. Hours are subject to change during peak sales periods.
