Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced professional to lead and develop all aspects of a community-led grantmaking project.

As the Program Director, you will be responsible for supervising program staff, managing project operations, and ensuring the successful implementation of our grantmaking strategy.

This is a full-time exempt position that requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as expertise in curriculum design, project management, facilitation, grassroots fundraising, and community organizing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive grantmaking strategy that aligns with our organization's mission and goals
  • Supervise and support program staff in their roles and responsibilities
  • Manage project operations, including budgeting, planning, and evaluation
  • Facilitate training and workshops for grantmakers and other stakeholders
  • Build relationships with community partners and stakeholders to advance our grantmaking goals

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a related field (e.g. social work, non-profit management, community development)
  • 5+ years of experience in community-based grantmaking or a related field
  • Proven track record of successful grantmaking and community engagement
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
