Senior Technical Education and Skills Development Professional

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the implementation of programs/projects and other related activities. This includes developing procedures and techniques in addressing industry TVET needs, establishing close linkages with industry and other partners, and facilitating evaluation and monitoring of programs/projects and services including trainees' progress and development.

This role also involves providing technical and industrial services to technical-vocational institutions, and other partners, as well as providing inputs to operations in the training center. The successful candidate will have strong research skills and be able to conduct independent research and studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement programs/projects and other related activities;
  2. Develop procedures and techniques in addressing industry TVET needs;
  3. Establish close linkages with industry and other partners;
  4. Facilitate evaluation and monitoring of programs/projects and services including trainees' progress and development;
  5. Provide technical and industrial services to technical-vocational institutions, and other partners;
  6. Provide inputs to operations in the training center;
  7. Conduct independent research and studies;
  8. Review and participate in the work of lower specialists;
  9. Consolidate data and other periodic reports with quality and efficiency;
  10. Assist in the development of procedures and techniques in assessing TVET needs in the formulation of educational training programs relevant to his subject field;
  11. Coordinate the implementation of programs/projects and services;
  12. Perform other related functions.
