At Purely-Optimal-Inc we are looking for a talented professional to join our team as an Inventory Management Specialist.

This role is crucial to the success of our rapidly growing eCommerce business, specializing in health and wellness supplements on Amazon. We need someone with expertise in inventory management, product sourcing, and forecasting to ensure our stock levels are consistently optimized, aligned with sales activity, and prepared for growth across multiple platforms.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Product Sourcing: The successful candidate will source and restock products to meet demand, ensuring supply aligns with forecasting models.
  • Inventory Analytics & Forecasting: Using strong analytical skills, the specialist will monitor and manage inventory levels, track sales trends, factor in seasonality, and adjust based on marketing campaigns.
  • Spreadsheet & Reporting Mastery: Building and maintaining accurate spreadsheets to track inventory, identify discrepancies, and generate reports that highlight potential risks and opportunities.
  • Expiration Management: Tracking product expiration dates and coordinating with marketing to prioritize sales of items nearing expiration.
  • Sales Channel Impact: Anticipating and managing how new channels shift demand, updating forecasting and reordering accordingly.
  • Proactive Reordering: Ensuring timely reordering by setting reorder points and monitoring supplier lead times to prevent stockouts and overstock.
  • Inventory Reporting: Delivering clear and timely reports on inventory status, forecasted needs, and potential issues.
