Job Title: Dental Claims Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team as a Dental Claims Specialist. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional service to our customers by managing and processing claims, resolving issues, and providing support while maintaining the highest level of quality and integrity.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Following up on outstanding insurance claims and ensuring all follow-ups are properly documented and communicated.
  • Sending out claims and attachments to insurance companies.
  • Determining denial validity and addressing them accordingly.
  • Generating OI reports and completing monthly tasks.
  • Resubmitting and reprocessing claims, including grievances and appeals.
  • Clearing rejected claims on a weekly basis.
  • Updating the office tracker with payments posted and rejected claims addressed.
  • Completing assigned follow-ups on office spreadsheets.
  • Generating EFT reports and retrieving EOBs from insurance portals for posting.
  • Posting insurance payments according to office preference.
  • Identifying and communicating any insurance process updates or issues with the team.
  • Maintaining professionalism at all times and adhering to work schedules.
  • Achieving desired goals and completing tasks in a timely manner.
  • Communicating with managers in the absence of attendance issues.
Requirements:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with minimal accent.
  • A background in dental insurance or collections industries.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on collections experience.
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Outstanding organizational, time management, and follow-up skills.
