Financial Operations Role

The primary focus of this position is to manage daily financial tasks and ensure the accuracy of property-specific financial records. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting principles knowledge and have a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:
  • Record and process journal entries to guarantee all business transactions are accurately documented.
  • Update accounts receivable and issue invoices in a timely manner.
  • Process accounts payable and perform regular reconciliations.
  • Support the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports according to established guidelines.
  • Assist with reviewing expenses, payroll records, etc., as assigned.
  • Maintain accurate financial data in databases to ensure seamless access when needed.
  • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly financial reports.
  • Collaborate with senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
  • Conduct annual CAM, tax, and insurance escalations and prepare tenant packages.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a US Accountant.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent analytical acumen.
  • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
