Legal Associate / Credit Investigator

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Gathering and Verifying Information:Credit investigators collect data from various sources, including banks, credit bureaus, and public records. They verify information provided by applicants and conduct background checks.
  • Credit Analysis:They analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant documents to assess the applicant's credit history and ability to repay.
  • Conducting Interviews:They may interview applicants, their employers, or other relevant contacts to gather additional information.
  • Preparing Reports:Credit investigators document their findings and prepare reports summarizing their analysis and recommendations.
  • Assessing Risk:They evaluate the risk associated with lending to a particular applicant and provide a recommendation to the lender.
  • Ensuring Compliance:Credit investigators ensure that all investigations are conducted in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
