Accounting Professional Sought for Financial Operations Role

Seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented accounting professional to join our financial operations team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting principles, as well as excellent organizational and analytical skills.

">Job Description:
  • Prepare and maintain accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets and forecasts
  • Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and regulatory requirements
  • Perform detailed account reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies or irregularities
  • Monitor and track project/job costs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Review and process vendor invoices, inquiries, and statements of account
  • Maintain and review management credit card reports and employee reimbursements
  • Develop and implement processes to improve accounting workflows and increase productivity
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA certification required
  • Minimum 2-5 years progressive accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
