Dental Billing Expert Role

This role focuses on leading training sessions, upskilling, and ensuring accurate billing operations. As a Dental Billing Expert, you will teach billing workflows, including insurance verification, CDT coding, claims, EOBs, and denials. You will lead live and recorded sessions focused on payer logic, billing documentation, and audit-readiness.

Responsibilities:
  • Billing Workflows Instruction: Teach dental billing processes: claim submissions, payment postings, and patient communication.
  • Evaluation & Performance Assessment: Conduct Skills Evaluation Interviews (SEIs) to assess system use, billing logic, and knowledge gaps. Monitor trainee progress through checklists and Salesforce.
  • Ongoing Support & Coaching: Answer learner questions around codes, payer rules, and billing practices. Deliver practical coaching on tone and clarity in billing notes.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of U.S.-based dental billing experience, including hands-on insurance coordination and claim workflows.
  • Advanced knowledge of CDT codes, EOBs, AR follow-up, appeals, and U.S. dental software standards.
  • Confident leading live trainings, SEIs, and mock walkthroughs with clear communication and instructional skill.
