**Dental Billing Expert Position**

The role of the Dental Billing Expert is to deliver high-quality training sessions and ensure accurate billing operations. This requires a deep understanding of dental billing workflows, including insurance verification, CDT coding, claims, EOBs, and denials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach billing best practices to staff members.
  • Lead live and recorded training sessions on payer logic, billing documentation, and audit-readiness.
  • Develop and implement strategies for system familiarity and code accuracy.
  • Conduct evaluations to assess system use, billing logic, and knowledge gaps.
  • Monitor progress through talent management systems.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations for retraining needs.
  • Answer questions around codes, payer rules, and patient communication.
  • Deliver coaching on tone and clarity in billing notes.
  • Identify common misunderstandings and address them with the team.

Maintain HIPAA compliance across billing documentation.

  • Ensure accuracy in ledgers, note-taking, and coordination between billing and clinical roles.
