The role of Senior Project Manager is critical to the success of our projects, requiring a seasoned professional with expertise in managing large-scale initiatives from conception to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Coordination: Oversee all aspects of project delivery, ensuring timely completion and meeting customer expectations.
  • Engineering Services Delivery: Manage the delivery of engineering professional services for assigned projects, working closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Custom Board Enablement: Collaborate with engineering teams on custom board enablement and delivery of Ubuntu images to customers, driving technical solutions to reach desired delivery outcomes.
  • Scheduling and Planning: Develop and maintain project-specific schedules/project plans, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines and resource allocation.
  • Communication: Maintain daily and weekly communication with clients and internal stakeholders, keeping them informed of project progress and any potential issues.
  • Critical Deliverables: Manage the delivery schedule of critical third-party deliverables for the project, ensuring timely receipt and integration into the project plan.
Requirements:
  • Project Management Experience: Solid experience delivering engineering services to customers, managing software development teams, and field engineers.
  • Cross-Cultural and Multi-Continent Resources: Extensive experience managing projects with cross-cultural and multi-continent resources, preferably in Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
  • Educational Background: A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) is preferred.
  • Technical Knowledge: Good knowledge of Linux and Open Source Software community, understanding of computer architecture.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communications skills in English, strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Work-Life Balance: Ability to work non-standard hours, willingness to travel up to 4 times a year.
