Financial Operations Specialist

The primary role of the Financial Operations Specialist is to provide support for financial processes, reporting, and compliance. This position requires a detail-oriented approach, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in accounting software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and classified.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Support US tax compliance, including preparation and filing of various US tax forms (e.g., sales tax, 1099s).
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and company policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 1 year of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
  • Solid understanding of US taxation basics (e.g., 1099, sales tax).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
