Job Title

We are seeking a Senior Financial Coordinator with expertise in the construction industry to oversee financial reporting, compliance and project accounting.

  • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, reconciliations and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain and update financial records with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Oversee payroll processing, including superannuation, PAYG and year-end reconciliations.
  • Allocate and code transactions, ensuring accurate data entry, reporting and financial insights.
Responsibilities
  1. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management reports, including analysis of budgets, costs and job-related expenses.
  2. Support project accounting by monitoring budgets, cost codes and providing financial advice to project managers and leadership.
  3. Manage supplier and subcontractor accounts, including invoice verification, payment preparation and reconciliations.
  4. Assist with BAS, GST and tax reporting, ensuring compliance with ATO standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 5+ years' bookkeeping experience, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of MYOB or Xero, including data entry, allocation, payroll and reconciliations.
