We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled professional to support our financial planning team as a Senior Financial Planning Coordinator.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to model financial strategies effectively and prepare comprehensive Statements of Advice (SOAs) and Records of Advice (ROAs) in line with compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct product comparisons and strategy modelling for superannuation, insurance, and pension products.
  • Assist in the setup and structuring of Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSF) for property investment.
  • Utilize financial planning software such as Xplan, Midwinter, and AdviserLogic for research and documentation.
  • Work closely with senior planners to implement tailored financial strategies for clients.
  • Ensure all financial plans and recommendations comply with regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate client records and liaise with advisers to refine financial strategies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a paraplanning role or similar field.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency with financial planning tools such as Xplan, Midwinter, and AdviserLogic (experience with Intelliflow is an advantage but training will be provided).
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with financial advisers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
