Job Summary

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage company inboxes efficiently, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups.
  • Handle intake calls from patients, families, and referral sources with professionalism and empathy.
  • Assist with insurance verification, prior authorizations, and documentation support.
  • Coordinate and process referrals from hospitals, clinics, and case managers.
  • Communicate effectively with case managers, patients, and internal staff for seamless care coordination.
  • Use call management tools for efficient operations.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation within our CRM system and Electronic Medical Record software.
  • Support the healthcare team with scheduling, data entry, and administrative tasks as needed.
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Virtual Assistant or Administrative Assistant is preferred (healthcare experience is essential).
  • Familiarity with insurance processes, referrals, and prior authorizations in healthcare.
  • Proficiency with technology platforms, CRM systems, and Electronic Medical Record software.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a remote setting.
