Job Title: Healthcare Scheduler

Our organization seeks an experienced and detail-oriented Healthcare Scheduler to coordinate appointments, manage staff schedules, and ensure efficient patient and caregiver coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage daily schedules for healthcare staff, including nurses, caregivers, and therapists.
  • Communicate with patients, families, and staff to confirm appointments and resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Ensure adequate coverage for all shifts and respond promptly to last-minute changes or call-offs.
  • Maintain accurate records in scheduling software and update calendars in real time.
  • Collaborate with HR and operations teams to align staffing with patient needs.
  • Monitor compliance with labor laws, internal policies, and healthcare regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a homecare scheduling role.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. healthcare systems, terminology, and staffing models.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., ClearCare, Alaya Care, HomeTrak).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high volumes of scheduling requests.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
