Automation Solutions Specialist

Seeking an Automation Solutions Specialist to serve as the backbone of our automation efforts. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on streamlining processes, connecting systems, and enabling teams to work smarter.

We are looking for a highly skilled individual with expertise in n8n workflow automation, Airtable, Power Automate, and API integrations. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and a detail-oriented approach to data accuracy and workflow reliability.

The ideal candidate will be a self-driven, proactive professional with experience in operations automation, systems integration, or process improvement roles. They will be flexible, adaptable, and eager to learn new platforms and tools as the automation landscape evolves.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and design workflows that improve operational efficiency.
  • Build and maintain automated workflows using n8n, ensuring efficient and reliable execution across multiple business systems.
  • Connect and synchronize Airtable, Microsoft ecosystem tools, JIRA, Basecamp, and other SaaS platforms via APIs, webhooks, and automation flows.
  • Develop and manage Power Automate flows and Power Query transformations to streamline data handling, reporting, and operational dashboards.
  • Create and manage API integrations with project management, CRM, and communication tools to eliminate manual work.
  • Monitor automated workflows, troubleshoot errors, and optimize performance for reliability and scalability.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with n8n workflow automation.
  • Strong proficiency in Airtable, including schemas, formulas, automations, and API integration.
  • Skilled in Power Automate and Power Query for Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON for integrations.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA and Basecamp, including automation of tasks and reporting.
  • Bonus: Experience with Zapier, Make.com, or scripting (JavaScript/Python).

Professional Background:

  • 2–4+ years of experience in operations automation, systems integration, or process improvement roles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate business processes into automated workflows.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for documenting workflows and collaborating across teams.
