Shopify Web Developer

Our team is looking for a skilled Shopify web developer to join our e-commerce solutions team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Shopify development, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid, and responsive design principles.

The successful candidate will be responsible for owning their e-commerce storefront end-to-end, developing both front-end and back-end features, launching new products and campaigns every 4–6 weeks, and ensuring creative assets from design/marketing are implemented seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Store Development & Customization: Develop both front-end and back-end features, launch new products and campaigns every 4–6 weeks, and ensure creative assets from design/marketing are implemented seamlessly.
  • Site Optimization & Performance: Continuously monitor and improve site speed, load times, and responsiveness, leveraging PageSpeed Insights and other tools to maintain high performance scores.
  • Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Quickly debug and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime, test changes in staging environments before deployment, and deploy updates during low-traffic windows to protect customer experience.
  • Integrations & Automation: Manage critical integrations, troubleshoot app conflicts, and recommend new apps, tools, and automations to streamline workflows.
  • Collaboration & Growth: Partner with marketing/design teams to execute high-impact launches, provide feasibility input on timelines and campaigns, share ideas to improve UX, conversions, and checkout flow, and stay current with Shopify updates and e-commerce best practices.
  • Research & Innovation: Explore emerging Shopify trends, suggest opportunities for innovation, test and recommend A/B strategies to improve conversion rates, and contribute insights to strengthen the DTC customer journey.
