Disaster Response Customer Care Representative

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to join our team as a Contact Center Agent. This is a temporary, remote position contingent on disaster relief needs.
As a Contact Center Agent, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with service inquiries and improving their experience during a difficult time.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting customers with service inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Learning common requests and solutions to provide exceptional customer service
- Improving the overall customer experience through effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Escalating customer dissatisfaction to proper channels
Key qualifications for this role include:
- Age 18 or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to type swiftly and accurately (20+ words per minute)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Basic understanding of Windows operating systems
- Reliability and punctuality
- Aptitude for conflict resolution, problem solving, and negotiation
- Customer service orientation
- Ability to multi-task and stay focused
- Strong team orientation and customer focus
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with change and ambiguity
- Interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with colleagues and customers
