Job Summary

We are seeking highly motivated individuals to work as disaster relief call center representatives. This is a temporary, remote position that requires excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will be confident, fully engaged, a team player, and dedicated. They must be able to improve the customer's experience by providing exceptional solutions to simple requests.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with service inquiries
  • Learn common requests and solutions
  • Improve the customer's experience
  • Utilize advanced customer service techniques and systems
  • Escalate customer dissatisfaction to proper channels

In addition to becoming the best in the business, the agent must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with their team and customers.

Candidate Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
  • The ability to type swiftly and accurately (20+ words a minute)
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Basic understanding of Windows operating systems
  • Highly reliable with the ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality
  • The ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow up on customer issues
  • An aptitude for conflict resolution, problem solving, and negotiation
  • Must be customer service oriented (empathetic, responsive, patient, and conscientious)
  • Ability to multi-task, stay focused, and self-manage
  • Strong team orientation and customer focus
  • The ability to thrive in a dynamic environment where change and ambiguity prevail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with your team and customers
