We are seeking an accomplished Digital Marketing Expert to join our team and lead the charge in maximizing organic traffic, improving Google Maps visibility, and driving inbound leads across all service areas.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing multiple Google Business Profiles, ensuring categories, services, descriptions, hours, and photos are accurate and keyword-rich. They will also post weekly updates and offers on GBP to drive engagement and generate reviews consistently. Furthermore, they will monitor GBP Insights to track visibility, calls, and directions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Google Business Profile Management: Optimize and manage multiple Google Business Profiles across all markets
  • Categorization and Keyword Optimization: Ensure categories, services, descriptions, hours, and photos are accurate and keyword-rich
  • Content Creation: Generate weekly updates and offers on GBP to drive engagement
  • Review Management: Generate and respond to reviews consistently (volume + keyword relevance)
  • Insight Monitoring: Monitor GBP Insights to track visibility, calls, and directions
  • Keyword Research: Conduct keyword research specific to each service and area
  • Content Optimization: Create and optimize service pages and location pages
  • On-page SEO: Apply on-page best practices: title tags, headers, meta descriptions, alt text, schema
  • Content Calendar: Regularly update content to maintain rankings
  • Blogging: Build a blog/content calendar with FAQ-based articles and seasonal content
  • Guide Writing: Write and publish customer-focused guides to capture organic traffic and educate homeowners
  • Content Repurposing: Repurpose content for use in Google Posts and social platforms
  • Site Speed Improvement: Monitor and improve site speed, Core Web Vitals, and mobile responsiveness
  • Technical SEO: Manage sitemaps, robots.txt, redirects, and broken links
  • Local Citation Building: Build and maintain consistent NAP citations across major directories
  • Link Building: Acquire local backlinks through sponsorships, partnerships, press, and guest posts
  • Reputation Management: Monitor online mentions and reputation management
  • Performance Tracking: Track traffic, keyword rankings, GBP performance, and conversions
  • Reporting: Report weekly and monthly performance to leadership team
Requirements:
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience as an SEO & Digital Marketing Specialist, with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns
  • SEO Expertise: 3+ years proven experience with SEO, preferably in local/home services industries
  • Google Maps Knowledge: Deep knowledge of Google Maps ranking factors and GBP optimization
  • Technical Skills: Strong background in keyword research, on-page SEO, and content strategy
  • Tools Familiarity: Familiarity with technical SEO and site auditing tools (Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog)
  • Data-Driven: Data-driven, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
