Job Overview

The Project Manager position plays a pivotal role in leading product development and business enhancement initiatives.

This involves strategic planning, leadership, and platform/feature enhancement to ensure seamless execution and optimal outcomes.

A key responsibility is developing and leading strategic planning projects for Engineering and Business, including marketplace growth, third-party integrations, eCommerce technology, and business projects such as General Ledger replacements and department tool enhancements.

  • Process Strategy: Develop and lead strategic planning projects across the company, fostering collaboration and effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Process Leadership: Develop and lead business projects, driving results-oriented decision making and enhancing project outcomes.
  • Platform & Feature Enhancement: Act as a change agent to streamline processes, automate tasks, and continuously improve platform and toolset features to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements Gathering: Facilitate discussions with internal and external stakeholders to gather product requirements and feedback, ensuring the Engineering team receives sufficient detail on business needs.
  • Product Definition & Prioritization: Capture high-level product requirements and translate into detailed, actionable tasks, prioritizing based on LOE and/or ROI with respect to corporate goals.
  • Business Solutions: Collaborate with Business Departments to design and develop technology-based process improvements to drive automation and enhance project outcomes.
Project Management Expertise
  • Business Workflow Analysis: Understand business workflows to improve project outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Conflict Resolution & Roadblock Management: Identify and resolve conflicts, priorities, and roadblocks to enable the team to achieve goals.
  • Technical Understanding & Advocacy: Work with the business to understand the platform, its integrations, and features, bridging technical capabilities with business needs.
Requirements
  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent practical experience) and at least 5 years of related PM experience, ideally with eCommerce knowledge.
  • eCommerce Platform Expertise: Proficiency with eCommerce platforms, ERP systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Databases (SQL Server and MySQL), and reporting platforms.
  • Product Documentation: Ability to document product requirements with clarity for technical teams.
  • Requirements Analysis: Experience performing thorough requirements analysis through independent research and testing methodologies.
  • Project Management Tools: Proficiency with Jira, Asana, Monday.com, or similar PM tools.
