Job Title: Clinical Data Analyst

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Data Analyst to join our team. As a Medical Coder, you will be responsible for assigning diagnosis and procedure codes to patient records using ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS or other designated coding classification systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Extract relevant clinical information from medical records.
  • Coding diagnoses and procedures accurately, including modifiers, and resolve any coding discrepancies.
  • Participate in audits and implement necessary changes to coding of accounts based on agreed findings.
  • Maintain adherence to the Standards of Ethical Coding as set forth by AHIMA.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year experience in inpatient medical record coding.
  • AHIMA or AAPC coding credentials (CPC, CIC, CCS) required.
