About the RoleThis esteemed position plays a pivotal role in assessing the creditworthiness of loan applicants by verifying information and checking documents with various private and government agencies.
The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating collateral for loans, dacion, foreclosure, or property sale, ensuring that appraisals meet quality standards and are completed within prescribed timelines.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough credit evaluations and investigations to determine an individual's creditworthiness.
- Evaluate collateral for loans and other financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Verify information and check documents with relevant agencies to confirm authenticity.
- Ensure adherence to established bank policies and procedures to maintain a high level of integrity.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Economics.
- Have at least one year of experience as a Credit Investigator/Appraiser in a banking or appraisal firm.
- Demonstrate exceptional analytical, communication, and written skills.
- Hold a Licensed Real Estate Appraiser designation, if desired.
