Credit Portfolio Specialist

The role is primarily responsible for evaluating the status of accounts on a post-approval basis, in terms of repayment capacities, to enable management to take prompt corrective action and prevent further deterioration of the accounts.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the portfolio quality of borrowers via classification of accounts based on internal guidelines.
  • Validate risk ratings/credit scorecards performed by account officers during portfolio reviews and report discrepancies and/or errors in rating, if any, for eventual correction.
  • Ensure that all required data and information are accurately encoded/presented in the credit review sheet for each account.
  • Monitor assignment in actual portfolio review, ensuring that all credit folders and other loan-related documents are available.
  • Prepare the credit portfolio review report after every review engagement.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Graduate of a 4-year business course.
  • At least 5 years of experience in credit origination, account management, and remedial management.
  • Willingness to work onsite and be assigned in Makati/Ortigas.
