Credit and Cash Management Professional

About the Role

This is an entry-level position within Global Business Services, focusing on accounts receivable, collections, and related activities. The primary goal is to ensure accurate and timely processing of customer payments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and record customer transactions, applying cash remittances to accounts in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and generate reports to provide insights into outstanding balances, cash flow, and collection performance.
  • Communicate with customers regarding account adjustments, deductions, and delinquencies, negotiating payment arrangements and resolving balances.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align collection strategies and ensure accurate accounting practices.
  • Manage defaulted accounts, perform recovery activities, and implement strategies to recover amounts while minimizing losses.
Qualifications

Essential:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in collections or accounts receivable.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate reports.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Technical Skills and Knowledge
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with financial software and Oracle.
  • Solid understanding of accounts receivable processes and best practices.
