Logistics Billing & Accounting Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Logistics Billing & Accounting Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough audits of UPS/FedEx invoices to identify and resolve discrepancies.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive audits of UPS/FedEx invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Review and assess software systems for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare detailed reports and summaries of audit findings with actionable recommendations.
  • Develop and implement controls to prevent future discrepancies and optimise processes.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant legal, regulatory, and industry standards related to shipping and billing.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Proven accounting experience, specifically within a logistics or warehousing company.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in auditing tools and software; advanced skills in MS Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
