Delivery Operations Coordinator

We are seeking an accomplished Delivery Operations Coordinator to oversee the execution of same-day deliveries across the US. This role involves dispatching routes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and interacting daily with drivers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dispatch deliveries in assigned markets, creating efficient routes given driver schedules, customer needs, and service level due times.
  • Maintain expertise in our dispatch system.
  • Communicate directly with customers via phone and email to resolve issues quickly while maintaining a calm, professional tone.
  • Master our telephone and ticketing systems.
  • Provide direct, efficient communication and immediate feedback to drivers.
  • Achieve on-time delivery metrics of 90%+ for all markets assigned.
  • Offer constructive, ongoing feedback to supervisors regarding driver supply needs and performance.
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of clients, drivers, and market-specific needs.
Requirements:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Accountability and dependability.
  • Customer service skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to adapt to new software technologies and changing market conditions.
  • Operational efficiency in project management and team leadership.
  • Passion for logistics and rigorous business practices.
  • Familiarity with Google Office Suite.
  • Remote work experience.
