Job Overview

We are seeking an organized and proactive Electric Vehicle (EV) Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of EV charger installation projects. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and project management skills, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects
  • Serve as the primary liaison with utility companies and municipal permitting departments, fostering seamless collaboration and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Track permits, applications, and approvals, escalating delays when necessary to maintain project momentum
  • Prepare and review project documentation, including service request forms, utility maps, and permit packages, to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Manage project timelines, dependencies, and deliverables using industry-leading project management tools
  • Verify installation readiness, including utility upgrades, permits, and material availability, to ensure a smooth and efficient process
  • Provide technical input leveraging electrical knowledge to collaborate with engineers and inspectors, driving informed decision-making and ensuring project success
  • Communicate project status and timelines clearly with clients, maintaining open lines of communication and addressing any concerns promptly
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project coordination or management within the electrical, construction, or utility sectors
  • Strong familiarity with electrical systems and ability to interpret one-line diagrams, without requiring an engineering license
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with project management software, such as Monday.com, Asana, or Trello, is highly desirable
