Project Specialist Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive project specialist to manage and streamline electric vehicle (EV) charger installation projects. The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between our internal teams, utility companies, permitting authorities, and clients—ensuring deadlines are met, documentation is accurate, and communication flows seamlessly.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with internal teams to ensure tasks are delivered on schedule, serving as the main liaison with utility companies and municipal permitting departments, tracking permits, applications, and approvals, escalating delays when necessary, preparing and reviewing project documentation, managing project timelines, dependencies, and deliverables in project management tools, verifying installation readiness, including utility upgrades, permits, and material availability, providing technical input leveraging your electrical knowledge to collaborate with engineers and inspectors, and communicating project status and timelines clearly with clients.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in project coordination/management within electrical, construction, or utility sectors
  • Strong familiarity with electrical systems and ability to interpret one-line diagrams
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with project management software is a plus
