Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Loan Compliance Analyst to join our team at Manila Water Company, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, or law and at least 3 years of experience in a loan compliance or risk management role.

  1. The Loan Compliance Analyst will be responsible for preparing compliance requirements for Parent Corporate Loans and coordinating timely submission of these requirements to the lenders.
  2. The analyst will process and track payments for all debt service relating to Corporate Loans and Service Concession Obligation (SCO).
  3. The analyst will manage the timely and accurate payment of loan obligations relating to Corporate Loans and SCO by maintaining a schedule of payments and communicating the funding requirements to the liquidity unit.
  4. The analyst will monitor the utilization of proceeds from foreign loans by maintaining a database of assigned expenditures/disbursements per facility for regulatory (BSP) reporting.
  5. The analyst will ensure compliance and registration of foreign loans to the BSP to enable FX purchase for debt servicing and settlement.
  6. The analyst will provide support in the preparation of loan drawdown requirements of the Parent company and ensure timely and accurate submission of all loan drawdown-related requirements to lenders banks.
  7. The analyst will assist in fundraising initiatives of the Parent Company (e.g., reviews loan agreement provisions on settlement, taxation, and reportorial requirements).
  8. The analyst will compute the initial carrying value of new loan drawdowns for facility creation in the Treasury Module.
  9. The analyst will maintain worksheets and manage the accretion and valuation of the company's outstanding Corporate Loans and SCO.
  10. The analyst will analyze and recommend month-end Corporate Loans and SCO accounting entries.
  11. The analyst will validate and analyze the SL-GL Reconciliation for the Treasury Loan Ledgers.
  12. The analyst will prepare periodic internal reports, forecasts, and analysis relating to Corporate Loans and SCO.
  13. The analyst will ensure the achievement of the required service level standards of Treasury.
  14. The analyst will interact and coordinate with various internal (i.e., Financial Accounting Team, Controllership and Analysis Managers, and Project Managers) and external (i.e., Representatives of Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, World Bank, Lenders, MWSS) stakeholders for treasury/loan-related matters.
  15. The analyst will manage loan-related records and their archiving based on relevant company policies.
