Lead Talent Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic thinker to oversee and optimize our talent acquisition operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong operational background, be proactive, and results-oriented with the ability to create a world-class candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement efficient and compliant talent acquisition processes, workflows, and documentation.
• Manage and optimize our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other talent acquisition-related technologies.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy within our talent acquisition systems.
• Oversee vendor relationships related to talent acquisition.
• Manage recruitment events and activities.

Talent Acquisition Optimization:

• Develop and deliver training and resources to hiring managers and the talent acquisition team on best practices in interviewing, candidate assessment, and recruitment processes.
• Create and maintain interview guides, scorecards, and other relevant tools.
• Stay updated on the latest recruitment trends, technologies, and legal requirements, and share knowledge with the team.
• Leverage AI-driven insights for talent intelligence and predictive analytics.

Project Management:

• Track and report on recruitment metrics.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Employer Branding:

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute employer branding initiatives that attract top talent.
• Manage online presence on career sites and social media platforms.
• Develop compelling job descriptions and other recruitment marketing materials.
• Participate in industry events and build relationships to enhance our employer brand.

Continuous Improvements & Innovation:

• Regularly analyze talent acquisition metrics and identify areas for improvement in processes, efficiency, and candidate experience.
• Implement data-driven solutions and best practices to optimize the recruitment lifecycle.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in our talent acquisition function.
• Conduct regular audits of talent acquisition processes to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
• Proactively identify, evaluate, and implement automation and AI solutions to enhance talent acquisition efficiency and candidate experience.

Pre-Hire Onboarding Success:

• Collaborate with talent acquisition and clients or internal hiring managers to ensure a smooth and positive pre-hire onboarding experience for new employees.
• Oversee the offer letter process, contract signing, and background checks.
• Develop and implement communication strategies to engage candidates between offer acceptance and their start date.
• Create a world-class pre-hire onboarding experience & processes.

Analytics & Reporting:

• Develop and maintain key talent acquisition metrics and dashboards to track performance against goals.
• Generate regular reports on recruitment activity, time-to-hire, source of hire, and other relevant metrics.
• Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
• Present talent acquisition performance data to stakeholders together with other talent leaders.
• Oversee talent intelligence and insights.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role and have done so effectively.
• Proven experience in managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing to offer.
• Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, technologies (including AI), talent intelligence, and analytics.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects and track ROI.
• Experience in developing and executing employer branding initiatives.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
