The Lead Cloud Platform Engineer plays a pivotal role in client engagements, leading architectural design sessions, guiding peers, and managing expectations.

Key Aspects of the Role
  • Technical Oversight: Provide guidance and support to younger team members, helping them develop their skills and confidence in infrastructure delivery.
  • Coaching and Development: Serve as a coach in a player-coach model, helping team members upskill and build their expertise.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships between cloud infrastructure teams, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Delivering Results
  • Technical Delivery: Function as technical delivery oversight with strong consultative skills on multiple client engagements.
  • Project Management: Partner with Delivery Excellence to ensure project milestones align with the project plan.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Have a strong understanding of Cloud Infrastructure solutions and IaC implementation using Bicep or Terraform.
  • Delivery Team Support: Help the delivery team reach billable targets by breaking through project blockers.
  • Change Orders and Extensions: Facilitate change orders and project extensions when needed.
  • Alignment and Communication: Drive alignment where there are technical mesh points between practice areas.
  • Staying Current: Keep apprised of the latest technologies impacting existing offerings.
Business Development Leadership
  • Exposure to Other Offerings: Gain exposure to other 3Cloud offerings in other practice areas.
  • New Opportunities: Identify new Cloud Infrastructure & Security solution opportunities.
  • Leadership and Guidance: Lead and guide infrastructure offerings committees.
Unlocking Business Growth Factors
  • Trusted Advisor Status: Reach trusted advisor status within multiple accounts.
  • Engagement Scaling: Lead and guide multiple engagements to scale out our infrastructure team.
  • Support and Unblocking: Support teammates with unblocking engagements and remediating escalations.
  • Reusable Artifacts: Create reusable artifacts and content for team members to bill their time.
