Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business operations and be able to analyze complex data systems. They will work closely with stakeholders to gather and document requirements, develop comprehensive business requirements documents, and present detailed requirements to obtain consensus and buy-in.

The role involves reviewing and evaluating proposed solutions for alignment with business and customer needs, highlighting key risks. They will also collaborate with product teams to design and implement solutions that align with the company's data-led strategy.

Key responsibilities include assessing and managing the impact of requirements on data systems and business processes, supporting development, systems testing, UAT, and implementation by working closely with solution partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

They will validate test case scenarios against BRDs and audit test case results performed by UAT testers, ensuring adherence to change control and change management procedures related to business requirements.

Additionally, the successful candidate will share best practices and insights with the wider team and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, the candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Analysis, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on data systems and management is required.

The ideal candidate will have proven success in business and quality analysis roles involving complex project delivery. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as excellent communication and stakeholder influencing abilities at all organisational levels.

Proficiency with business analysis tools and techniques, such as user stories, process flowcharting, and requirements documentation, is necessary. Advanced IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams, are also required.

Familiarity with project management and change platforms, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Open Project, and Azure, is an added advantage.
