Loan Processing Specialist - Mortgage Department

A successful Loan Processing Specialist will be responsible for managing the preparation and review of loan documents, ensuring timely completion and compliance with regulatory guidelines.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of mortgage lending regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with loan officers and underwriters to ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Review loan files for completeness, verifying that all conditions and requirements are met before closing.
  • Verify that all documents are correctly executed and notarized, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records for all closed loans and ensure that all documents are filed appropriately.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in mortgage, real estate, or title industry is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, loan officers, and other internal and external parties.
  • Basic understanding of mortgage loan documents, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
