Overview

The role of an Operations Finance Analyst II involves contributing to the achievement of financial and business objectives through accurate and timely financial analysis and reporting. This includes working cross-functionally with operations, commercial finance, and finance teams to resolve issues related to revenue, costs, contract values, billing, balance sheet management, financial reporting, financial tools, and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer daily financial management of a moderately complex project portfolio and/or special assignments.
  • Collect, compile, verify, and analyze financial information to provide management with accurate and timely information for making financial decisions.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts that are adequately supported and documented.
  • Analyze budget to actual data on monthly, quarterly, and annual bases and for revenue calculations and forecasting; create trackers, financial tools, dashboards, and provide technical solutions by manipulating large datasets and compiling data.
  • Track, maintain, and interpret project information and budgets within the project accounting system; participate in reviewing and development of financial reports, tools, systems, policies, and processes in support of financial management process and improved efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic qualifications.
  • Previous experience providing knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 3+ years).

  • Strong interpersonal and project administration skills.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentation of data.
